昨天驚傳病號的「雷神」Noah Syndergaard，將跳過今天的先發，看似大都會的前景又將不樂觀。不過好在今天終於傳來好消息，Syndergaard的喉炎並不若想像來的嚴重，可望在下週出戰馬林魚。

「他今天感覺好多了，」大都會總教練Terry Collins表示，「他現在有了點活力，不過我們還是要持續觀察，或許他還需要一些時間休息也不一定。」

Syndergaard昨天驚傳感染鏈球菌性喉炎，將跳過下一次的先發，也打亂了大都會的調度，不過好在病情沒有太嚴重。接下來不論Syndergaard會是在週一或週二先發，他都將在週末出戰費城人，然後開始準備最後的外卡殊死戰。

除了Syndergaard和Bartolo Colon外，大都會將還要從Seth Lugo和Robert Gsellman之間選一人來補上週末的系列賽先發，另外對大都會來說的好消息是Steven Matz的復健情況良好，「或許」有可能可以在最後關頭在牛棚幫助大都會。

「這還是取決於他的狀況，他不能投我們也不會派他上場。」Collins對此表示，「他可能會在這剩下得7場比賽中出戰，也可能1局也不會投，再看看到時的狀況吧。」
